My starting point of thinking on your solution was mostly related with keeping most of the existng situation. As I saw from the pictures you attached, you already have well equiped kitchen and recently renovated bathroom. During my design, I tend to keep this as it is. Also, I was thinking of creating two zones. I think I managed to answer to all your needs and I wish you pleasant stay in this spacious and well lightend appartment.
