Architectural drawing illustrating internal distribution and surface coverage of proposed furniture, and dimensions.
I have studied two solutions.
IDEA A
As requested: merge the apartments.
IDEA B
I show here the dividing solution for an hypothetical future.
The main idea
The project have been developed starting from the use of one entrances. Through a storage system I simulate a wall, easily removable. Here there’s the chance to go directly to the home office/night area, you decide. Then I will enter the day area.
A
I studied three different areas such as TV area and reading/relax, dining room and separate kitchen (openable if you desire, I always prefer to have it separate).
The dining room has two big sliding doors to have the chance to close or open the space.
The kitchen is comfortable and because of its L shape it’s possible to add a little snack table. Big sliding door to close it or have an open like sensation kitchen.
The master bedroom has a big dedicated area with many functions:
an entrance (near to the living room as much it is possible) with a walk in closet;
a separate closet/wardrobe room with a big window and the possibility to install a big bathtub near the window;
a big bedroom with the chance to put storage or armchairs or makeup cabinet;
a private bathroom divided in two spaces (a washing area, with sink and shower and a toilet area), this division will be very useful. Then the peculiarity of the shower is to be in glass material, as it is diving in the bedroom, and so the natural light from the windows can reach the bathroom.
All the bathrooms have been located near the actual sinks.
B
My project has a core idea to separate again the apartments, that can be divided with their entrances open again.
I suggest here two new proposals for the master bedroom and the bathroom in apartment nr.2.
A new master bedroom with its own en suite bathroom.
A main bathroom I suggest to separate the washing area from the toilet: we can have the first area with basin and laundry and then the shower and the toilet.
