The main purpose of design was to fulfill your requests and design an apartment easy for living. The apartment is divided at the rooms’ zone, the living area and a central zone between them which includes the entrance hall and a bathroom.

When someone enters there is an entrance hall with a closet. The hall communicates either with the living area or the rooms’ area. At the living area there is an open plan sitting area and a kitchen. The kitchen has an island which is combined with a dinning table. At the rooms’ area there is a hall with storage from which the bedrooms and the bathroom are accessible. Furthermore there is another bathroom at the place of the existing and can be easily accessed from the living area and the rooms too.

The goal was to take advantage of the existing openings so that every room has a window or a windoor for natural light and fresh air. I designed three bedrooms because I believe that will help for more privacy. The only room with no window is the bathroom at the rooms’ area which will need mechanical ventilation system.

Another family need that was considered was that one for storage space. There is storage space at each area of the house to service its needs. For example there is storage space at the sitting area, kitchen, entrance hall and bedrooms. Furthermore there is extra storage space at the rooms’ hall where you could also place the laundry machine. The storage at this space could be increased if you remove the shower at the bathroom and reduce its space.

There is a possibility for TV at the sitting area, at the wall of the kitchen and at the bedroom. The bathroom and the kitchen are placed at the same place to take advantage of the existing connections.

For the flooring I propose parquet because it creates a nice feeling for an apartment. At the kitchen and the bathrooms I propose tiles with natural stone texture because it is better for the functionality of these spaces.

As for the costing, there were included several extra costs like the smart home system or the renewal of the windoors that you could remove if you want. At last at the furniture list you can see at some options two choices, an expensive and a cheap one. You can decide which one you would prefer.
