The idea behind this bathroom project was to create two simple / divided spaces within small existing shower area.
Clients wanted to have a small area for shower only and separate area for bath.
They wanted stone bench, but in such a small area, my idea was to create bigger open space for shower without bench and to place a bathtub next to it.
Bathtub with its dimensions 130 x 70 cm, was perfect and the only solution for this kind of project because it is small enough and functional, also clients will have they own bath area, where they can relax and enjoy.
Modern design was accomplished with usage of glass, wood and marble, also with glazed chrome bathroom sanitary ware, shower and modern mono block tap.
First element as you approach to the new designed area is big marble ceramics wall with an inner shelf in different material, that gives dynamics and edginess with its wooden ceramic design.
Light also play big part on this element as they highlight wood material of the shelf, and bring more power to its design.
Light also appear on the top of the protruding marble wall, and lighten up wooden ceramics wall that continue in the shower area.
Except wooden wall that appear in the shower, the other walls are done by simple matt white ceramic in dimensions 30 x 90 cm , used for the floors also, that will save money for expensive shower trays and keep simple design.
This usage of ceramics is recently starting to be more popular and on the budget.
In continue, clients wanted shelves so I thought, why not keep it on the same spot as it was before.
This time it can be built inside of the wall.
Created from gypsum system / brick – 6 cm thick, you can have space 15cm wide and 70 cm deep, enough for all the cosmetics and towels, but still, used in different, interesting way.
This way it will have the same amount of products, as in shelve before, but it will be hidden, and the bathroom will be more clean and organized.
This bathroom can be solved with an investment less then clients suggested, and all this elements can be found over provided links or with the same code in the nearest supplier, as they came from international companies.
