This project involves the interior design of an approximately 80-square-meter urban residential unit. The aim was to create a diverse yet cohesive environment that meets the daily needs and aesthetic preferences of modern residents. Given the favorable plan layout and southern exposure, the design allowed for various stylistic approaches while maintaining overall harmony throughout the space.
Three distinct design styles were adopted: a black-and-white minimalist approach with clean geometry and metal louvers for a bold and refined ambiance; a warm and structured feel using light concrete and dark walnut wood to convey urban comfort; and a soft, poetic interpretation inspired by modern wabi-sabi aesthetics, using curved lines and natural textures to create a calm and sensorial space. Each style reflects an aspect of contemporary life—from clarity and functionality to warmth and serenity.
Color palettes were carefully chosen not only to reflect each style's identity but also to coexist visually across the unit. Contrasts of black and white, earthy warm tones, and raw or polished materials like brushed metal, polished concrete, walnut wood, linen fabrics, and natural plaster provide both tactile depth and visual richness.
Spatial layout was optimized to maximize natural light, ensure proper ventilation, and support multifunctionality, especially in compact areas. Linear and accent lighting techniques helped define volumes and add depth. Infrastructure for smart systems controlling lighting and ventilation has also been considered.
Furniture was selected in a minimal yet high-quality style to provide elegance and harmony with materials and forms. In the master bedroom, an integrated layout includes a workspace, vanity, and lounge corner beside the bed, offering both functionality and comfort. The southern-facing windows and the use of natural materials reinforce the connection with the outside environment and promote a sense of sustainability.
Ultimately, this design responds to the varied lifestyles of its users through three distinctive yet complementary styles that together deliver a well-balanced fusion of simplicity, warmth, and tranquility within a contemporary residential setting.

Questo progetto riguarda il design d'interni di un’unità residenziale urbana di circa 80 metri quadrati. L’obiettivo era creare un ambiente vario ma coerente, capace di soddisfare le esigenze quotidiane e le preferenze estetiche degli abitanti moderni. Grazie alla disposizione favorevole del piano e all'esposizione a sud, è stato possibile adottare approcci stilistici diversi mantenendo però un’armonia complessiva in tutto lo spazio.
Sono stati adottati tre stili distinti: un approccio minimalista in bianco e nero con geometrie pulite e pannelli metallici a lamelle per un’atmosfera audace e raffinata; una sensazione calda e strutturata tramite cemento chiaro e legno di noce scuro per evocare comfort urbano; e un’interpretazione morbida e poetica ispirata all’estetica wabi-sabi moderna, con linee curve e texture naturali per creare uno spazio calmo e sensoriale. Ogni stile riflette un aspetto della vita contemporanea – dalla chiarezza e funzionalità alla calda intimità e serenità.
Le palette cromatiche sono state scelte con cura per rappresentare l’identità di ogni stile e, allo stesso tempo, coesistere visivamente in tutta la casa. Contrasti tra bianco e nero, tonalità terrose calde, materiali grezzi o raffinati come metallo spazzolato, cemento levigato, legno di noce, tessuti naturali come il lino e intonaci grezzi offrono profondità tattile e ricchezza visiva.
La distribuzione degli spazi è stata ottimizzata per massimizzare la luce naturale, garantire una corretta ventilazione e supportare la multifunzionalità, in particolare nelle aree più compatte. Tecniche di illuminazione lineare e d’accento contribuiscono a definire i volumi e aggiungere profondità. È stata inoltre prevista l’infrastruttura per sistemi intelligenti di controllo della luce e della ventilazione.
L’arredamento è stato scelto con uno stile minimal ma di alta qualità, per offrire eleganza e coerenza con i materiali e le forme utilizzate. Nella camera da letto principale, un layout integrato include un’area lavoro, una zona toeletta e un angolo relax accanto al letto, offrendo sia funzionalità che comfort. Le finestre rivolte a sud e l’uso di materiali naturali rafforzano il legame con l’ambiente esterno e promuovono un senso di sostenibilità.
In definitiva, questo progetto risponde a diversi stili di vita attraverso tre linguaggi distinti ma complementari, che insieme creano un’armonica fusione di semplicità, calore e tranquillità in un contesto residenziale contemporaneo.
