In response to the program, the main objective was to create an entrance hall to provide privacy between the living room and the remain divisions of the floor. In that purpose, a vertical slatted wood separates physically the spaces, but maintain visually the connection between them. This “piece” incorporates a cloakroom to place keys, coats, etc..., and a work desk space. This desk “invades” the living room to separate the dining area from lounge area. Shelves and spotlights distributed on the wall create a cubic painting (that can be transformed /displaced).
