The central concept for the design was to ensure the Master Bedroom be perfectly placed in the eastern wing to enjoy the morning sun. The adjoining spaces were then arranged around this primary room. The smaller Kids Bedroom is placed in the western wing taking advantage of the existing gable. The new bathroom has been placed above the existing First Floor bathroom in order to allow easy connection to the existing services. All rooms are accessed of a central corridor and both bedrooms have access to walk in closets. On the First Floor the stairs land in an area which creates minimal disturbance to the existing spaces with only a small amount of office and storage space lost.
