Description

The design solution provides for the division of the living room into two functional areas through the construction of a partition able to separate the space physically, but able to allow the visual communication between the dining area and the living area. This divider element is composed by the combination of some furnishings: the existing Expedit bookcase, an Expedit shelf, a plan and a portion of plasterboard wall; these elements were planned and organized to form a kind of bar-buffet serving both the dining area and the living area. A big table with stools for 8 people will be placed in the dining area and also a wine exhibitor, placed on the partition, to make the kitchen spatially defined and separated from the dining area. The living area is organized in front of the big white wall used as surface for projection, where the existing sofa and a swivel chair are contemplated to set. A bioethanol fireplace will be placed on the wall adjacent to the entrance door. The area defined by the large round window will be raised above the quota of the floor through two steps, to enhance its volume; this space will constitute a reading and relax area, where a chaise longue will be setted. A wardrobe will be setted in the wall niche adjacent to the entrance door, leaving enough space for the placement of the drying rack, hidden by a system of sliding decorative tents.
