La nostra nuova casa – Project Presentation

This project was designed to address the shortcomings the homeowners have felt in their house over the years and to create a more functional layout suited to their new lifestyle. Every decision was made with careful consideration of the clients’ specific needs.

At the client’s request, a coat closet area was created at the entrance of the apartment. This provides an organized space for coats, shoes, and everyday items.

Kitchen and Day Area

The kitchen was one of the spaces most emphasized by the clients. In line with their requests, a bright, spacious, and fully equipped kitchen with a window was designed. A double sink, ample counter space, and modern equipment make it suitable for their cooking habits. In addition, the kitchen was positioned so that it is not directly visible from the entrance.

The dining area was placed considering the relationship between the kitchen and the living room. This provides proximity to the kitchen during meal preparation while maintaining a connection with the living room, making it ideal for entertaining guests.

The living room is in a separate space, arranged with a comfortable seating group facing the TV, suitable for both relaxation and conversation.

Night Area

The clear separation between day and night areas, which the clients specifically requested, was directly reflected in the plan. The bedrooms were located at the back of the apartment, away from daytime circulation, creating a quiet and private zone.

Master Bedroom: A double bed and the client’s existing wardrobe, which they wished to keep, were placed in this room. Additional storage and a bookshelf were also included, making the room more functional.

Single Bedroom: Furnished with a single bed, a desk, and a wardrobe, making it suitable for both rest and study.

Study/Guest Room: Equipped with a sofa-bed and a bookshelf, this flexible space can function as both a home office and a guest room when needed.

Bathrooms and Storage

A storage closet was designed in the corridor. This cabinet allows for the organized storage of cleaning products, a vacuum cleaner, and small household items. In addition, a washing machine was placed in a hidden niche near the bathrooms, so it is both out of sight and conveniently close to the wet area, in line with the clients’ request.

As the clients specifically requested, the apartment includes two full bathrooms, each equipped with a shower, sink, WC, and bidet. Both bathrooms are also accessible directly from the corridor.
