First of all, thanks for giving us the opportunity to participate in this contest, we hope you like our work in your new apartment.
Light and space.
Those were our two goals in this floorplan distribution, we tried to create the best relation between spaces and light. Always looking for unification and separation of programs.
First, of all, we tried to make a unique space in the "public" area of the apartment. The kitchen is a semi-open space that faces the dining and living room. Both the living and dining room are in front of the main balcony so that the light and openness of the space is the first thing you will see entering the apartment. We used the main pillars to establish a corridor that divides the main space from the rooms, there is a second corridor that hides the doors from both bedrooms and the guest bathroom. Both, bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 have almost the same space and the same closet. The bathroom they share it's divided into two sections so it could be used by both kids at the same time. The master bedroom has an independent entrance and it's aligned to the structural pillar to determine
its final size. The closet's in front of the bed, so if you want a tv it could be in the same furniture as the closet creating a very interesting space. The master bedroom it's very simple you have an open space with sink and WC/bidet and then you have a shower that has a very good size related to the bathroom.
OPTION 2
Light and space. Those were also our two goals in this floorplan distribution, we tried to create the best relation between spaces and light.
Always looking for unification and separation of program.
The difference between the first option and this second option it's basically the bathrooms in the bedrooms 1 and 2. In the first option, we had a single bathroom for both children. In this option, we have two smaller bathrooms that occupy the same space as option 1, but they give independence to both children.
We know you asked for only one bathroom, but we think it's important to have all the opinions over the table to make the best decision.
