Description

Dear Client, thank you very much for this interesting and challenging project.
I hope you that you will find my proposal interesting and enjoy it .
The idea behind my design is to take the original shape of the chalet and challenge it by imitating the site. Instead of rising high, as the site is next to the road, when one approaches sees only an approaching bridge and a small building. That way it gives privacy from the north and maximum views to the south, without stoping others from enjoying it. the bridge separates the traffic leading only to the house. Because of its inclination, it is also environment friendly, facing south. once one goes into the villa, they find themselves into a small entrance and a spiral staircase, that leads to an open plan living space. On the lower level, are the children compartments, and at the last level, the terrace with the swimming pool and jacuzzi, a small cooking area and bar, a sauna, shower, toilet and a changing room .The glazing used on the south facade is electrically heated, especially designed for snow. The floors are also made out of concrete, and the have underfloor heating in them. The skin of the building hugging the concrete, is made out of timber, preferably locally found. Towards the end of the building one will find the swimming pool with the moving canopy being part of the roof of the terrace, moving backwards when desired. That way the swimming pool can be enjoyed in the winter a lot while looking at the view.
Again I hope you will like the design, and it has been a pleasure to design something different. Good Luck!
