Description

Dear client,

This highly detailed project proposes a brand new house which will definitely dominate with modern architecture in the location where it’s based. According to your requests and recommendations, this is a 3 story chalet designed based on urban regulations and restrictions. The design concept involves the use of modern materials such as raw concrete and old wood, creating maximum attention to energy efficiency and charming place for the owners: the result is a compact modern and a minimal chalet.

Starting from the top (level 0), you have the garage for two cars with a storage, the entrance which leads you to stairs which send you to one floor below. Master bedroom is also located on the same level, creating a cozy, quiet and private place for the parents.

Level -1 has an open living room with an open kitchen concept. It’s all faced south oriented towards Mont Noble and Cret-du-Midi which gives you a full view of the beautiful mountains ahead. Other spaces in this level are: the kitchen storage, a bathroom , a technical room for installations and two terraces on each side of the house, one close to the kitchen and the other close to the living room. This story is also accessible from the outside by external stairs which are located on the side of the chalet.

Level -2 has the three bedrooms for the kids, a bathroom and the utility for laundry and clean keeping. From this level you have a direct connection with the pool. Considering the architecture and designs of this chalet, the cover for the pool was not proposed because it was not fitting well with the design. However, you can purchase the “balloon/bubble cover” for the pool and use it during cold seasons.

As for the finishing of the facade, there will be a mix of concrete and wood. By using large windows there will be enough space for the light to come in and create a more close approach with nature. Using the same materials in the interior you have a well designed space which connects beautifully with the outside and blends good with the environment.

Hope you like the design and congratulations on your new home.

All the best!
