At the time of projecting our proposal, we were interested in your preference for the architecture of Apple stores and we tried to respond to your needs using a design concept similar to the one used by Apple when designing its stores and its products.
Exteriors of simple lines, pure forms and a few neutral colors. Interiors of spatial richness, spaces of different connected heights, integrated spaces and vegetation included in the interior of the project.
The project consists of a high white and pure box, supported on a base of concrete, half-buried. A central patio crosses the house from the basement to the terrace, bringing clarity and nature to all the spaces.
The basement of concrete, -1.50 meters semi-buried, contains a service area (machine room, laundry, general deposit, toilet), garage for 2 cars, wine cellar and a relaxation area directly related to the cellar and the interior patio. The dark tone of concrete separate the upper white box from the ground level, and in the interiors it gives a rustic atmosphere to the cava and its expansion.
The white box is elevated from the garden level. It is accessed from the street Dante Alighieri, through an entrance hall ranked by its high interior height. The main space integrates the functions of living, dining and kitchen in a single space of abundant natural lighting. The studio / playroom, located next to the entrance, articulates social and private areas. Likewise, it is in direct relation with a staircase, of sculptural character, that connects the basement, the ground floor and the terrace. Towards the back of the lot, in the quieter sector and with the best solar orientation, there are two bedrooms, with two bathrooms (one social and the other exclusive to the main room).
In the reference examples that you chose, all the houses had a flat roof, so we thought it would be very useful to design a garden terrace on it, in case you want to have an open space and more privacy respect to the garden. The terrace includes a pool, a deck for sunbathing in summer, and an area of solar panels that provide electricity to the house.
