I carefully read your requests, accompanying documents and photos of the building, apart from the small inconsistencies dimensional undergoing final design and executive (which surely there will be entrusted, -) which it will be resolved by a prominent state in fact more accurate, we looked at this preliminary stage to solve the problem of distribution that, given the size minimum width of the building has resulted in a more accurate study in addition to the perception to try to expand as much as possible the perception of space by keeping free from clutter connection between the living area and the kitchen area.
I will try briefly to explain our project proposal ....
To minimize the surface dedicated to the link between the various environments and before determining where I located the same, I have chosen as the center of gravity of the entire system design scale placing it as the focal point, the vertical connection between the two plans offering a clear overview of the house.
GROUND FLOOR
- Access from the pedestrian gate along a passage paved with bands in local stone that will lead to the new entrance of the house (the first door and window becomes the window becomes door window and then again in reverse order) where you enter the center of the great "L", I have compressed in height only this area with a countertop that will hold the bathroom fixtures upstairs and highlight with the light in this area will be more intense the dining area, with seating for six / eight people and a Mobile sided service.

- Kitchen corner lights and shadows almost invisible from the living area with a large amount of light to any environment, from here you enter through a gate to a hallway where we have made an elegant bathroom on the floor and a laundry / utility room with access directed outside to a paved area and furnished for breakfast, lunch or dinner outdoors;

FIRST FLOOR
Landing scale a small passage onto which the two doors of the rooms and the sliding bathroom ....
- The bright and spacious bathroom with a large shower floor level with gargoyle ceiling, wall hung sink and a large rectangular recessed into the bathroom cabinet, I thought of a coating 20x20 don the azulej of Mutina;
- Double bed south facing the French doors that give on the balconies, small desk in walnut (antique) dresser corner and walk-in closet view of the castle;

Apart from the selection of wood for the floors, the ceramic coating and the choice of lighting I want to suggest being renovated to provide for a system of exposed wood beams in the ceiling of the ground floor living area and kitchen, although only decorative and not structural, and if possible consistent budget, maintain demand and ceiling beams and / or trusses of small and large warping of the roof of the building on the first floor.

Buongiorno!
ho letto con attenzione le Vs. richieste, la documentazione allegata e le foto dell’edificio, a parte le piccole incongruenze dimensionali che in fase di progetto definitivo ed esecutivo (che sicuramente ci verrà affidato,-) che verranno risolte da un rilievo dello stato di fatto più accurato, abbiamo cercato in questa fase preliminare di risolvere il problema distributivo che, viste le dimensioni minime in larghezza dell’edificio ha comportato uno studio più accurato oltre a quello percettivo per cercare di dilatare quanto più possibile la percezione dello spazio mantenendo libero da ingombri il collegamento tra l’area living e l’area cucina.
Cercherò in breve di illustrarvi la nostra proposta progettuale….
Per ridurre al minimo la superficie dedicata al collegamento tra i vari ambienti e prima ancora di stabilire dove avrei ubicato gli stessi, ho scelto come baricentro di tutto l’impianto progettuale la scala ponendola come punto focale, il collegamento verticale tra i due piani che offre una chiara visione di insieme della casa.
PIANO TERRA
- Accesso dal cancello pedonale si percorre un passaggio pavimentato con fasce in pietra locale che condurrà al nuovo ingresso della casa (la prima porta diviene finestra e la finestra diventa porta e poi ancora finestra invertendo l’ordine) da dove si accede al centro della grande “elle”, ho compresso in altezza solo questa area con un controsoffitto che conterrà gli impianti del bagno al piano superiore ed evidenzierà con la luce che in questa area sarà più intensa l’area pranzo, con il tavolo per sei/otto persone ed un mobile bifacciale di servizio.
- Scala in ferro con pedata e alzata in MEG sagomato (ABET laminati) in essenza coordinata al pavimento in parquet, la scala, accoglie la stufa la cui fiamma sarà visibile da qualsiasi angolazione del piano terra, partendo galla cucina si appoggia lungo tutto l’angolo come una cerniera con la parte finale della (gli ultimi quattro gradini) che scompaiono nel controsoffitto;
- Living volutamente a sinistra entrando in casa appartato arredato con un grande divano ed una parete da attrezzare in base alle esigenze +++libri ma anche grande tv +++ portafotografie ma anche tecnologia;
- Cucina luci e ombre angolo quasi invisibile dalla zona living con un grande apporto di luce a tutto l’ambiente, da qui si accede attraverso un varco ad un disimpegno dove abbiamo ricavato un elegante bagno di servizio al piano e una lavanderia/ripostiglio con accesso diretto all’esterno ad uno spazio pavimentato e arredato per la colazione, pranzo o la cena all’aperto;

PIANO PRIMO
Allo sbarco scala un piccolo andito su cui si affacciano le due porte delle camere e quella scorrevole del bagno….
- Il bagno spazioso e luminoso con un grande piatto doccia filo pavimento con doccione a soffitto, sanitari sospesi ed un grande lavabo rettangolare incassato nel mobile bagno, ho pensato ad un rivestimento 20x20 don gli azulej della Mutina;
- Camera sud letto rivolto verso le portafinestra che danno sui balconi, piccolo scrittoio in noce (pezzo di antiquariato) cassettone ad angolo e dalla cabina armadio vista sul castello;
- Camera ovest due letti singoli ma volendo anche un letto doppio con un grande armadio a ponte che sovrasta la portafinestra e contiene uno scrittoio.
A parte la scelta delle essenze per le pavimentazioni, il rivestimento in ceramica e la scelta dei corpi illuminanti ci tengo a suggerirvi in fase di ristrutturazione di prevedere un sistema di travi in legno a vista nel soffitto del piano terra zona living e cucina, anche se solo decorative e non strutturali e se possibile compatibilmente al budget, mantenere a vista e a tutta altezza le travi e/o le capriate della piccola e grossa orditura della copertura dell’edificio al primo piano.
