Il progetto ha come obiettivo la centralità e la dilatazione dello spazio, attraverso la costruzione di nuovi elementi divisori che possano essere in qualche maniera occasione di contenimento e separazione non soltanto tra zona giorno e zona notte (la quale adesso gode di tre camere da letto progettate seguendo le esigenze della Committenza), ma anche tra interno ed esterno. Gli interventi all'esterno sono stati ridotti al minimo per permettere non solo alla Committenza di poter scegliere liberamente l'arredo più congeniale alle proprie esigenze, ma anche di lasciare quanto più ampio respiro possibile alla vista panoramica verso i tetti romani. Ci si è concentrati soprattutto sulla progettazione di alcuni arredi su misura, stimolante occasione di ricerca sul linguaggio e sul design dell'abitazione. Si è cercato di modificare la struttura portante il meno possibile, tenendo conto della possibilità di realizzare delle cerchiature ove necessario a sostegno della muratura. Come espressamente richiesto dalla Committenza, sono state previste due camere da letto per i bambini, un bagno per gli ospiti, un bagno privato a servizio delle due camerette, un bagno padronale privato ubicato all'interno della camera matrimoniale e una cabina armadio. In aggiunta è stato progettato un angolo studio - biblioteca. Le finiture sono moderne, minimali, con qualche tocco di colore per evidenziale cromaticamente elementi di interesse dell'appartamento.

The project's aim is the centrality and expansion of space, through the construction of new dividing elements which can in some way be an opportunity for containment and separation not only between the living area and the sleeping area (which now has three bedrooms designed following the needs of the Client), but also between inside and outside. External interventions have been reduced to a minimum to allow not only the client to be able to freely choose the furniture most suited to their needs, but also to leave as much scope as possible for the panoramic view towards the Roman roofs. The focus was above all on the design of some custom-made furnishings, a stimulating opportunity for research into the language and design of the home. The load-bearing structure was modified as little as possible, taking into account the possibility of creating hoops where necessary to support the structure. As expressly requested by the client, two bedrooms have been provided for the children, a guest bathroom, a private bathroom serving the two bedrooms, a private master bathroom located inside the master bedroom and a walk-in closet. In addition, a study-library corner was designed. The finishes are modern, minimal, with a few touches of color to chromatically highlight elements of interest in the apartment.
