The house is envisioned as a home built on the site of an ancient castle on the hill. Stone walls are designed as reminiscent of the ancient times, and as a fairy tale motif. The house emerges from the ancient foundations and is setting itself on the prominent spot on the top of the hill. The view is oriented toward the sea and toward the north-east side as clients wanted in the brief. We used also classic modern elements of I Beams, clear lines, white color, and simple shapes. the white walls in the building are perceived as new structures in contrast to the stone walls, all that is topped by a white line of roof like frames. The whole structure is intended to look like it emerged from some imaginary world, a modern fairytale.
