Description

The project aims to reorganise the appartment by undergoing a minimal stuctural changes. Glass sliding walls create visual connection between the different rooms and allow for a better light flowing within the appartment. They also enable to create intimity when necessary by closing and/or opening up the different stances between one another, or creating a bigger space by moving the glass walls. This way, the inhabitants can play with spatial distribution and organise the interior depending of the need of the moment. The sofa can be converted into a bed, this way, up to 4 people can be accomodated within the appartment when needed.

The kitchen and bathroom are refreshed with new furnitures and materials but remain in the same locations for better commodity when undergoing the actual renewal.
A small laundry is placed near the entrance and next to the bathroom to make water connection easier and give the appartment a special room for storing cleaning equipment and doing laundry wihtout taking habitable space within the appartment.
As for the furnitures, they come from IKEA and La Maison du Monde in order to lower the cost necessary for their purchase. Despite their lower cost, they create a minimalistic yet elegant and modern style that can be adapted to the tenant taste.
We proposed a list of lamp of low cost but interesting and elegant design for the project, to show how the illumination can be displayed. However they merely are a suggestion and can be selected to the tenant taste.
