The first thing we noticed about your HQ is the very nice location overlooking the river, with its greenery, and city center.
Since the location is very inviting, the interior should be as vibrant and interesting!
Your main expertise are airlines, and as such, the main motif of the space will be the sky blue colour, with many shades, where the lights will be white, symbolic of clouds. So, the current ceiling would best be clad with coloured panels. These panels can be in one colour, but can also be made as a mosaic, using all the shades of blue in a combined way, to gently add the feeling of depth to your ceiling. Between some of the panels will be stripes of lights which are arranged to work with the blues and make the ceiling feel higher than it is, a second sky in your HQ!
For the walls we chose a contrasting pallette, made of earthy tones that complement the scenery. We have chosen wood rather than stone, because of the warmer feeling it gives to the space and connection to the tropic context. The many colours will symbolize the countries you work in. The cladding varies throughout the space, symbolizing the function of parts as well: the meeting hall (for example) will have a more formal greyish-black colour of planks that symbolise the "suits" present in the space. The main workspace is light and colourful, to promote creativity, and the offices are more dignified, with calmer (yet still very colourful) tones. Some of the cladding is made of reclaimed wood, promoting the eco-friendly idea of modern cities and companies.
The decorations are composed of many various maps of the world and its regions. Old maps of southeast Asia and Toscanellis map of the world will be hung on the walls along with modern pictures of various destinations and attractions. Pictures and paintings of various birds and plants will bring the vibrant tropical colours, along with model globes of all shapes and sizes. Your main focus being airline travel, the space will have many pictures of airplanes, word art of phrases and names of destinations and views from planes, along with small models- souvenirs and mementos from around the world. One of the main walls can have a large mural/print of an airplanes side with windows, preferrably a wall that is visible to all workers and visitors (walls opposite elevators or right next to the entrance). We have attached a catalogue of these decorations which will be a nice addition to the space.
