Il progetto trasforma lo spazio del soggiorno attraverso l’inserimento di elementi architettonici che lo definiscono nelle sue caratteristiche spaziali; la libreria/scala che si posiziona nella parete di fondo, evidenzia, assieme al soppalco, lo sviluppo in altezza dell’ambiente e esalta la struttura del tetto con le travi in legno. Attorno a questo elemento “matrice” si articolano le funzioni richieste dal contest. Dalla parete attrezzata, pensata per contenere il televisore, radio, libri e sportelli chiusi per bicchieri e piatti, si articola la scala che sale sul soppalco/studio. Dalla stessa parete nasce una mensola in legno massello di rovere che svolgerà funzione di tavolo da snack, sormontato da un portabottiglie, su disegno della progettista. I materiali utilizzati, acciaio e legno massello, accentuano l’industrial style dello spazio.


The project transforms the living space through the inclusion of architectural elements that define it in its spatial characteristics; the bookcase/staircase that is positioned in the back wall, highlights, along with the loft, the development environment and enhances the height roof structure with wooden beams. Around this item "matrix" articulate the features requested by the contest. The storage wall, designed to hold the tv, radio, books and closed doors for glasses and plates, articulates the stairway leading up to the loft/studio. From the same wall comes a solid oak shelf that held snack table function, surmounted by a bottle on a drawing of the designer. The materials used, steel and wood, enhance the industrial style of space.
