In respect for your initial demands designed space brings:
kitchen, saved as it is, slightly reorganized by making it double sided and moving the fridge from the entrance, visually closed from the living room by the wall. Hiding kitchen mess is always practical, and this sort of solution would keep potential construction elements hidden and make entrance zone bigger;
bar with two seating places, built into the kitchen, yet part of the dining room. I placed smaller table into the dining room so the space would seem bigger and more cozy, but there is enough space to keep existing one if desired;
living room with library and TV is well nested, private area, right next to the window, and only partially seen form the entrance. In furniture scheme there are two sofas, yellow one if you are more interested in warm, effective spaces, and gray one, if your intention if to keep it more neutral;
gallery, as additional bedroom is created to receive just basic elements, but visually it brings dynamics and diversity into the space. It can be reached via ladder, that partially keep kitchen area hidden from the entrance door.
