Description

The main idea for this living unit was to create a flow between interior and exterior, opening up the most relevant spaces to the outside and giving flooring continuity to enable the user (client) to adjust the place according to event (hosting people/only for themselves), weather (rainy days would allow indoors only), etc. This is why some proposals show a more relaxed, outdoor/indoor furniture setting (in the Floor Plans) and others show a more concealed version within the perimeter.
The main difference between Options A and B relies on the position of the sleeping space (A: bedroom; B: loft), while Option C creates a different version where there is no parking space (instead, a storage room is provided).
Overall, the project seeks to create a modern living unit with an easy access to the existing yard for its further multi-use (as a living room extension, as a bar, as a study room extension).
