Description

The importance in this redefinition of space was to free as much as possible the view and thus the light. So we have removed all the masonry partitions and created a single room from the old living room and corridors.
This new space allowed us to benefit from a new closet/dressing room. Its positioning in front of the main entrance door allows to create a slightly narrow place to mark the access in addition to a hidden light emanating from the ceiling. So we got a seemingly more spacious kitchen, a dining room, and a living room that can be separated from the rest with translucent removable partitions that let light pass through.
As for the interior design, it is clearly inspired by the Scandinavian/nordic style, it is a design in light and modern tones with strong pieces that raise and refresh the whole (the lamps, the wooden frames, the console, the solid mirror in bronze).
In addition to the warm tones we opted for an artificial fireplace to warm up the new living room. It is perfect for moments of relaxation and we appreciate more the convivial aspect of the room.
