Residential - Apartment
The most complex aspect of the proposal was to properly interpret the functional logic of the semi-buried dwelling and to ensure full compliance with current building regulations.
In particular, local codes establish that bedrooms must provide natural ventilation and daylight through openings equivalent to no less than one-eighth (1/8) of their total floor area. In this regard, all three bedrooms comfortably exceed the minimum regulatory requirements.
The en-suite bathroom is designed with direct natural ventilation. Conversely, the secondary bathroom and the laundry room require mechanical (forced) ventilation. The ventilation duct for the secondary bathroom is proposed on the left side, beneath the stair structure, while the laundry room ventilation is located on the right side, with the duct fully concealed within the upper kitchen cabinetry.
The project adequately complies with all applicable technical and regulatory specifications.
I hope this proposal meets your expectations.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate.
