The proposal that I submit to you starts with respect to your requests, therefore planning to allocate the existing furniture ( the 19th century
showcase, the long storage and the mahogany display) along with 2 modern furniture to create a modern / antique combination.
The existing furniture are placed against the walls to create focus. The color of the showcase and linear storage is changed into white. A modern TV shelf is placed opposite to a modern Sofa where one can watch TV and relax.The mahogany display is preserved alongside the sofa. The entry doorway is replaced with a simple modern french door.
The main color scheme of the room is white with contrast to the two focus walls.The wall on the east side is colored in Giorgio Graesan style, while the opposite wall is kept green, as it is in the present. It will create a unique contrast between the modern and the antique, the new and the old.
The chandelier is replaced by two modern lighting which will use the existing sockets.
The wall painted in Giorgio Graesan style is highlighted with the 19th century painting. It will emphasize both the wall and the painting.The room is designed with a view to ensure maximum functionality and modernism, in the minimum budget possible.
