Dear Client,
It was pleasure for me to work on your project.
The aim of my proposal is to create contemporary and functional space, while keeping part of the building's history. I choose concrete floor, black metal (or rusted metal) and Edison type lamps to highlight the previous industrial use of the building and rough white stucco, stone, wood and plants to highlight the previous livestock use of the building.
The exterior of the building is almost the same as the visualization you had uploaded. Instead of yellow paint I provide wooden slats on angle for the ground floor facade. Also, I put black frames for the glass volumes on the first floor. In my opinion these frames add function and speak about the time of the renovation you are going to make. I moved the sign “Perlage” to the upper level, because it is more visible from the road, there.
Entering the ground floor on the right is the cash register and the person who welcome the guests. Next to it there is a stone “pedestal” which exposed the 27 types of Perlage wine (it could be with storage on the back side). Behind it there is a screen to demonstrate winery's history and its production. On the left side there is a stone arch alcove with bottles of wine on display and storage.
At the back of the shop there are the vertical connections to the second floor and passage to the wine tasting zone. Under the stairs there is another stone arch alcove with bottles of wine on display and the bar. On the back side of the TV wall there are two wine coolers with sliding doors. The space next to the front shop windows is assigned for shelves with wine bottles for low quantity of purchase.
The kitchen is situated next to the bar - short serving path to the wine tasting area and to the elevator.
The upper exit of the stairs separate the first floor of two areas – for visitors (on the right) and for offices (on the left). The two big openings are perfect for window seating niches – one in the hallway and one in the meeting room. The doors of the two rooms (from hallway to the rooms and between them) are pocket sliding doors in order to save space.
Hope you'll like my proposal!
