Il progetto si sviluppa a partire dalla suddivisione della villa in due aree distinte come richiesto espressamente dal cliente. Le condizioni di partenza hanno influenzato fortemente il processo decisionale, partendo da un analisi dell'esposizione solare si è deciso di collocare tutti gli spazi collettivi e di relax verso sud-est, mentre verso nord-ovest le camere e i servizi. La zona esposta a sud-ovest sarà pertanto collegata direttamente agli spazi esterni, offrendo agli ospiti la possibilità di socializzare, rilassarsi e godere di un'esperienza di connessione con la natura ed il mare, favorendo il senso di distacco con la vita cittadina. Le camere, progettate per favorire il riposo degli ospiti, saranno collocate a nord-ovest, garantendo un ambiente più fresco e tranquillo per il riposo notturno. Attraverso uno studio dei flussi, ed a seguito delle richieste del cliente di voler garantire un accesso autonomo per il primo piano, abbiamo previsto un corpo scala interno con accesso indipendente, evitando così di inserire una nuova ed estranea volumetria al corpo di fabbrica.Questo elemento non è solo un collegamento funzionale ma dovrà possedere anche un notevole valore artistico, con forme curve e plastiche che richiamino l'architettura tradizionale mediterranea. In accordo con gli studi fatti sulla percezione spaziale e la neuro-architettura, le forme organiche trasmettono una maggiore sensazione di benessere e relax, influenzando positivamente gli ospiti. Questo approccio all'user experience, ovvero un'attenzione progettuale a come le persone vivono gli spazi è la conseguenza della ridefinizione di alcuni format alberghieri, legata proprio all'esperienza percettiva dell'utente.

The project starts from the division of the villa into two distinct areas as expressly requested by the customer. The starting conditions have strongly influenced the decision-making process, starting from an analysis of solar exposure, it was decided to place all the collective spaces and relaxation to the south-east, while to the north-west the rooms and services. The area facing south-west will therefore be directly connected to the outdoor spaces, offering guests the opportunity to socialize, relax and enjoy an experience of connection with nature and the sea, favoring a sense of detachment with city life. The rooms, designed to encourage the rest of the guests, will be located to the north-west, ensuring a cooler and quiet environment for the night’s rest. Through a study of the flows, and following the requests of the customer to want to ensure independent access to the first floor, we have provided an internal staircase with independent access, thus avoiding to insert a new and extraneous volume to the body of the factory.This element is not only a functional link but must also possess a remarkable artistic value, with curved shapes and plastics that recall the traditional Mediterranean architecture. In accordance with studies done on spatial perception and neuro-architecture, organic forms convey a greater feeling of well-being and relaxation, positively influencing guests. This approach to user experience, that is, a design attention to how people live spaces is the consequence of the redefinition of some hotel formats, linked to the perceptive experience of the user.
