Nel progetto ho cercato di minimizzare i lavori in muratura lasciando l'impianto planimetrico dell'appartamento pressochè inalterato. Al posto del bagno grande con idromassaggio sono stati ricavati il secondo bagno ed uno studiolo con divano letto per ospitare eventuali ospiti occasionali. La zona pranzo è stata spostata vicino alla porta finestra adiacente il vano cucina e le due zone, cucina e pranzo sono state messe in comunicazione tramite una vetrata in acciaio e vetro scorrevole esterna, così da facilitare le operazioni inerenti il trasporto di cibi e stoviglie. Al posto del vecchio arco è stato inserito un pannello scorrevole come quello che separa la cucina così da mantenere una simmetria rispetto alla parete che ospiterà la tv. Nella parete dell'ingresso, adiacente il portoncino è stata ricavata una nicchia che ospiterà l'armadio guardaroba e scarpiera, così da integrarsi e quasi mimetizzarsi con le altre pareti. Nelle camere sono stati ricavati degli spogliatoi o cabine armadio in modo da separare la zona di deposito vestiario dalla zona relax e riposo. Vista l'altezza dei vani di circa 3 m, per ottenere mobili a tutta altezza si dovrà chiudere lo spazio sovrastante il mobile con cartongesso, questo sia in cucina che nelle camere e nell'ingresso. La lavatrice è stata poi spostata nell'antibagno dal quale si accede allo studiolo e al secondo bagno schermata da due ante scorrevoli, parte di tale vano può essere utilizzato anche per riporre i vari strumenti di pulizia.
