Description

The solution offers two alternatives, highlighting either the dining and cooking space or the living area. Both solutions encourage the co-working of the spaces into one big living room area. The niches in the walls are to be used as storage spaces whilst keeping also the utility room . It would be recommended if possible a suspended boiler . The negative space produced by the utility room (that would create some storage units to deep to be easily used) becomes storage space for the kitchen/ living room, creating in the first scenario a nice niche for a hippie refrigerator that can become itself a key-point of the design, having its share in the main perception of the loft. The colors are as advised sage and white with and a variety of natural wood patterns. Light colors are to be seen in many northern design concepts as well as in more mediterranean areas because they maximize the input of light, in this case are pretty benefic as the orientation of the apartment is mostly facing north. The master bedroom is sketched as being inspired by the changing nature of the ocean trying to give the sense of freedom and lightness it provides. Besides pellets offer a relatively cheap (maybe just temporary) solution, keeping the wood pattern more natural than its alternatively furnished or polished furniture, being also a creative eco-friendly choice. Nonetheless it gives the impression of the fast set-up cozy arrangement that would be proper on a beach even tough it is enclosed by four walls. Maybe who knows ? The dreams may not be enclosed by the same walls. The bathroom has also plenty of storage places marked on the plans, light colors do give the impression of a larger space, thereby being a good choice alongside with the large mirror that optically doubles it.And that's how a small bathroom doesn't feel small anymore.Note: The renders of the living/kitchen area are corresponding to the first solution.
