Description

The project “ART IS the ANswer” is born from the need to create a strong bond between place and people. The word “art”, as well as the word “artisan”, descend from the Latin word “ars” that stands for “practical method, technique”; being the man a capable technician, he expresses himself through the art that is ever present. The three bedrooms ready to host the “Artisans” - or craftsmen, or dreamers, or travellers – are inspired by three children of the art: Painting (room #01), Sculpture (room #02) and Poetry (room #03). The traveller is lead through an immersive and unique experience to the discovery of the key elements of these arts thanks to simple and easy-to-access objects. The project combines refined and high-priced design furniture – such as beds by Lago Design, lamps by Tom Dixon, chairs by NormanCop and armchairs by Moving Mountains – with cheaper but equally charming elements - by Hay, Cb2, Muuto, Pols Potten, Hem, Sight Unseen – finishing them with some low-cost design by Ikea and Maison du Monde so as to stick to the recommended budget without betraying the original concept “ART is the ANswer”: we could find all the answers in art.
