Tenuto conto delle invarianti come l’ingresso, le finestre, la struttura portante e la posizione della colonna fecale, il progetto risponde alle richieste della committenza che prevedono una più funzionale ripartizione delle superfici dedicate alle varie funzioni già previste nell’attuale configurazione.
L’ingresso viene legato spazialmente alla parte dedicata alla zona giorno che occupa, in termini si superficie, quasi la metà della casa e ne diventa la caratteristica principale. Un grande open-space nel quale svolgere tutte le attività legate alla quotidianità diurna: cucinare, mangiare, lavorare, rilassarsi, accogliere. Accentuando la vocazione ad essere il luogo di relazione e di scambio nell’ambito familiare e non solo, questo grande spazio diventa anche il luogo da attraversare per raggiungere o lasciare l’altra parte della casa. Infatti, da una grande porta scorrevole posta in un angolo del living si accede al disimpegno che serve la zona notte. In questa parte ci sono le tre camere da letto, i bagni, di cui uno occupa la posizione attuale, e il ripostiglio. Sfruttando la notevole profondità rispetto all’asse Est-Ovest (circa m. 10,50) è stato possibile posizionare il secondo bagno, completo di tutti i sanitari e di una grande doccia all’interno della quale si può sistemare una panca (ma anche elementi “wellness” come il soffione a pioggia, il sistema idromassaggio e l’illuminazione a soffitto per la cromoterapia) per godersi di più l’aspetto rilassante di un’attività altrimenti semplicemente funzionale.

Taking into account the invariants such as the entrance, the windows, the supporting structure and the position of the fecal column, the project responds to the client's requests which provide for a more functional division of the surfaces dedicated to the various functions already provided in the current configuration.
The entrance is spatially linked to the part dedicated to the living area which occupies, in terms of surface area, almost half of the house and becomes its main feature. A large open space in which to carry out all the activities related to daily life: cooking, eating, working, relaxing, welcoming. By accentuating the vocation to be a place of relationship and exchange within the family and beyond, this large space also becomes the place to cross to reach or leave the other part of the house. In fact, a large sliding door located in a corner of the living room leads to the hallway that serves the sleeping area. In this part there are the three bedrooms, the bathrooms, one of which occupies the current position, and the closet. Taking advantage of the considerable depth with respect to the East-West axis (about 10.50 m) it was possible to position the second bathroom, complete with all sanitary fittings and a large shower inside which a bench can be placed (but also “wellness” elements such as the rain shower head, the hydromassage system and the ceiling lighting for chromotherapy) to enjoy more the relaxing aspect of an otherwise simply functional activity.
