We designed this house as functional and elegant as possible to create a suitable living space for your family. The overall design is modern and clean with little touches to make it cozy, just as you requested in your briefing.
For your work space with meeting room and office, we tried to use the space in a very functional way while keeping the aesthetics of the working environment. Everything you were asking for in the briefing was included in this spaces, with the addition of a glass wall in the corridor near the entrance of meeting room. This allows daylight to enter to this corridor which your clients will wait in the couches here whilst waiting to meet with you. For office space also a kitchenette suggested both for you and your clients needings. Moreover the washing machine added to this place. The dimensions of the furnitures are similar to the ones that you put on the brifing file.
For your living space, the bathroom in the middle of the house was demolished and moved closer to your office area. This allowed us to create a large open space which hosts kitchen, living room and dining area. The entrance to the house is much more functional and spacious now with cabinets and an elegant mirror. We designed the two rooms on the right side of the entrance as children's rooms, as you have mentioned that this will be your final home, we tought that it is fitting that there needs to be two seperate rooms for them, even though you use this rooms differently for now. The small corridor brings these two rooms and a bathroom together, and we added laundry and pantry to this space too. Pantry is hidden with wall panels in dining area to provide direct access from kitchen. As for your own bedroom, it is located in the last room on the upper right side of the plan, with again includes everything you asked for. This room is both seperated from other bedrooms and the rest of the house to protect your privacy. And lastly, all other functions are located in an open plan, whilst having unique design elements to differentiate their function. We hope you like this design.
