My design was based on the requirements of the Clients. The apartment of Piazza Teatro is 70sqm (Approx). I considered to separate the floor into 3 small apartments, to take advantage of having 3 apartments instead of 2.
The design of the 3 apartments are different between them and they can easily be adapted to different family sizes and different family needs (1-2-3-4 People)
The design is simple, clear and wide without divisions, just the necessaries (bathrooms).
I kept the 2 main structure walls as it was required.
There are two floors in each apartment connected by the stairs, the ground floor is designed for the social activities (meeting,cooking,reading) while the first floor is designed for privacy (sleeping,meditating,reading).
The apartments were designed with a metallic structure mezzanine in connection with the existing one, and separating them in different levels, to créate a feeling of having more ro0ms.
The interior spaces of the apartments are more complex and interesting now with different heights.
The interior design is transformable, offering different ways to use the space.
The first floor can take different configurations, depending on the needs (wardrobe,playroom,sleeping room, studio and so on).
