The interior design of the apartment intended to reflect the cosmopolitan lifestyle of their owners under a contemporary Nordic/Dutch design with touches of color looking to personalize each space of the apartment.
The main focus of the project is in the social area, whose design incorporates unique pieces of furniture. However, each object has been selected with the greatest care to achieve tell a story through them and set a calm and pleasant as a whole but also unique from each of its elements and spaces-
The fundamental architectural approach it was to maximize natural light and enhance the visual to the city and the sea. However, to achieve a better functioning of the circulation and improved aesthetics I proposed three small adjustments:
1. Sliding doors.
Currently the corridor doors are hinged, the idea is to place sliding to improve circulation and the usable space of the bathrooms.
2. Drywall
The second adjustment relates to the construction of two walls of drywall. One in the hall and another in the bedroom 2. The idea of the wall of the hall is to form a rectangle that borders the beamline is proposed for this space. Similarly, the idea of building a wall of drywall in the bedroom 2 is to confine the closet in this room.
3. Lintel drywall on the kitchen
The idea of this threshold is to confine the kitchen in a bucket to make it look nicer.
These three subtle changes can help a lot in the aesthetic and functional, but if you decide not do, nothing happens, the proposal can function perfectly well without them.
The project seeks to single out each space, for this reason, has paid special attention to the selection of furniture and the uniqueness of each piece to achieve a unique and timeless design. In this sense we could say that this furniture can adapts to relocate at some point, because it is furniture that complements each other making variable indifferent place.
