We live in Bellevue, WA , USA in a nice neighborhood. We love the proximity to work, school & shopping. We love the ventilation, deck space, front yard, back yard & vegetable patch area. The view on west side from deck is something which we could relax in for hours.
Its a an old rambler which has been remodeled & additional spaces have been added on over the years. Each addition seems like a distinct addition & looks like care was not taken in remodels, to make the area a cohesive unit. Home is 3000+ Sqft, but it is sub optimally designed, as it just has 3 bed rooms & 3.5 baths. And it has a detached garage.
The layout has kitchen in the front. Dining area is a formal dining separated by a wall. And the living area is separated by a fire place. With all three of them lined on the south side of the home.
We do not like the segregation of rooms & would love to have a great room.
On level 2 just above the kitchen/dining/living, is attic space which has been converted to a living area. Its around 500 sqft with a full bath on the level 2. The top space on attic is treated as one single bed room.
The attic space has sloped ceiling on both sides, and the height at the ends is 4′. With the center @ 82″.
The stairs leading to attic are narrow.
We have one master bed room and another additional bed room at level 1. There are no other bed rooms on level 1. The Sewing room is a room attached to the master bed room & cannot be a bed room.
We are a family of 4, with a 10 yr old girl & 6 year old boy. We would ideally need a master bed room, 2 kids bed rooms and an additional guest bed room at the least.
Apart from these, we would like a prayer room, Office room.
From an elevation standpoint, the house is a little lower than the street level & it makes it look low. We would love to improve that too.
What we would love: We would love to get a remodel done to bring the home to current interior layouts.
The style we both seemed to like is craftsman.
We are open to changing the Entry & any additional extensions if justified.

10–>A designated portion of master for office space
11–>Separate Office room/ with no disturbance of sounds
12–>2 Kids bedrooms with access to full rest rooms
13–>1 guest bedroom with access to full rest room
14–>Great room to pull in living, dining & Kitchen together
15–>Comfortable living area & Fire place
16–>One multipurpose room, for any.
17–>Kitchen with island
18–>All bath & kitchen updated to current style
19–>Dining area should have a nice view
20 –>Home theatre room/Media Room

Viviamo a Bellevue, WA, USA in un bel quartiere. Ci piace la vicinanza al lavoro, a scuola e lo shopping. Amiamo lo spazio del portico con la vista sulla vegetazione dove ci rilassiamo per ore.
E’ una vecchia casa che è stata ristrutturata più volte e che è stata ampliata nel corso degli anni.
La casa è di circa 900 mq, ma ha solo 3 camere da letto e 3 bagni e un garage distaccato.
Si può considerare un ampliamento ma solo se necessario.
Il layout è composto da cucina nella parte anteriore, sala da pranzo e la zona giorno a sud, separata da un camino.
Non ci piace la segregazione di camere e piacerebbe avere una camera fantastica.
Al secondo piano abbiamo una seconda zona giorno, camere e servizi. La soffitta ha un tetto a falde e l’altezza minima 1.20 m. Le scale che portano alla soffitta sono strette.
Siamo una famiglia di 4 persone (una bambina di 10 anni e un bimbo di 6). Vorremmo avere una camera matrimoniale, due singole e una per gli ospiti.
Vorremmo anche un ufficio e una stanza per pregare.
La casa è leggermente più bassa del livello stradale e vorremo migliorare questa cosa.
Lo stile che ci piace è artigianale
Si può valutare lo spostamento dell’ingresso.

-Spazio per giacche, scarpe, ombrelli.
-Vicinanza tra garage e cucina
-Design elegante e visibilità delle scale che conducono al livello superiore

-Ufficio protetto dai rumori
-2 stanze singole con bagni
-1 stanza per ospiti con bagno
-Mettere sala pranzo, cucina e salotto in un unico spazio
-Una stanza addizionale (destinazione da definire)
-Cucina a isola

– Stanza multimediale
