Guido Reni

The Guido Reni apartment has been transformed into a bright and functional space inspired by Scandinavian design, featuring minimalist lines, a light color palette, and the use of natural wood, just as the client desired.

Upon entering, the first thing you see is an entryway framed by an elegant fluted wood panel, which adds texture and a subtle visual rhythm to the space. This area includes a painting, vases, and a small wall niche. To the left, a hallway leads to the social area, which features an L-shaped sofa, a spacious dining area ideal for gatherings with friends, and, next to it, an L-shaped kitchen with a counter.

The layout includes two spacious bedrooms, one of which has a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom. These rooms are hidden behind the same fluted panel from the entryway, reinforcing visual continuity and the warm character of the space. Within this panel, the access door to the bedrooms is fully concealed and equipped with a push-to-open system, allowing it to open with a light press, eliminating the need for visible handles.

Natural light now floods every corner of the apartment. The two windows that once faced the patio have been replaced with wooden and glass doors, offering a direct view of the garden from the sofa. Additionally, the design includes plenty of walls where the owner can display their paintings and artworks, seamlessly integrating them into the space.

In the patio, a seating area with an L-shaped sofa and a dining space has been created. Although the exit to the patio still has some level differences, they have been adjusted to make access more comfortable and seamless.

The bathrooms have also been expanded, and to avoid complications with relocating the plumbing, the floor level in this area has been slightly raised.

Finally, the wooden floor has been coated with white resin, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and brightness throughout the apartment.
