Outdoor - Garden
Greetings and warm regards,
This garden project is rooted in a design approach that merges functionality, spatial identity, and emotional experience. We sincerely thank the organizers of this competition for providing the opportunity to present this concept.
Given the elongated shape of the plot, we decided to divide the site into three main zones. This strategic "breaking" of the linearity allowed us to create more human-scale proportions, better light distribution, more engaging views, and smoother circulation throughout the site. Each section holds its own spatial identity while maintaining coherence across the garden.
Zone 1: Pool and Support Area
This zone includes the main swimming pool, an outdoor living area with a fireplace, a kitchen, a storage unit, an outdoor shower, and restrooms. The design facilitates a seamless flow between water-related activities and open-air relaxation.
Zone 2: Sports and Recreation
Serving as the core of group interaction, this area features a volleyball court, a basketball area, and a ping-pong table. Durable flooring, nighttime lighting, and surrounding vegetation ensure a dynamic and safe environment for users of all ages.
Zone 3: Mediterranean Garden
Inspired by the Italian climate, this section features a variety of trees including olive, Mediterranean pine, bay laurel, fig, and eucalyptus. Narrow paths lead users through the greenery, with seating areas placed for moments of rest and contemplation.
Entrance and Garage
The entrance sequence, including the garden wall and path to the garage, is carefully designed with gentle lines and greenery to create a warm and welcoming transition into the property.
