Description

This proposal seeks to achieve the best integration of the new pool area with the current space available and additionally provide complementary areas outside the house. With simple elements and looking for a construction with little impact and cost, it was possible to take advantage of the different levels of the current site. A deck in synthetic material resistant to the elements is proposed, this deck is simply supported on a metal structure that passes over the perimeter area of the pool, in this way an area is formed at the level of the upper part of the pool, achieving circulation spaces and to locate furniture elements such as a sun bed, this perimeter deck also integrates with level + 53 of the current site, in this way the levels are regularized, they are better integrated, and this same unevenness is used to generate an outdoor social area around a fireplace. As an additional comment I would like to add that it is not advisable to fill the surrounding soil, this would imply additional works of retaining walls around the pool, since these types of pools are not designed to support the weight of the soil around them, in addition This would also require more complex landscaping works to smooth the soil completely with the current soil, not to mention that there would be no room for maintenance in the perimeter area of the pool. With the proposal of a metallic structure and a deck, the work can be started in current conditions without making adjustments to the ground or additional works, it is also very easy to access the area of pipes and pool enclosure, simply by lifting some pieces from the deck. In general, it is possible to give a modern image to the patio with simple elements and with an easy and fast execution of work.
