Description

The objective of this interior project is to transform an office space into a small apartment while incorporating specific requirements provided by the client.
Removing the existing walls to create an open-plan living room with a kitchenette, will make the space feel more spacious and inviting. This modification will create a sense of continuity and maximize natural light flow throughout the apartment.
The kitchenette is located on one side of the room, with a countertop and storage cabinets along the wall, a small fridge, and a sink. To create a sense of separation, a small dining table, and chairs was located near the kitchenette. Furthermore, regarding the kitchen's position, the project will account for the waste water column located at the bottom of the current bathroom. Helped with a water pump such as Sanivite or a similar solution will be installed to ensure proper drainage.
For the storage room/pantry, we suggest building a small enclosure near the entrance, the bathroom, and the bedroom. This space can house the washing machine and water heater, as well as provide extra storage for cleaning supplies and pantry items.
Adjacent to the living room, the bedroom will feature a 160x210cm bed and ample closet space for storage. The design will prioritize creating a peaceful and comfortable ambiance, taking into account the historic charm of the palace.
The full bathroom will be efficiently planned to include a sink, toilet, bidet, and shower. The design will focus on utilizing the available space optimally while incorporating modern fixtures and finishes to enhance the overall aesthetic.
Considering the apartment's location within a historic palace, careful consideration was given to preserving the building's architectural features and integrating them harmoniously into the new design. The aim is to create a balance between contemporary functionality and the historic character of the space.
