The renovation proposal provides for the division of the loft into two apartments with separate entrance, as per customer requirements. The two apartments are designed as a discovery, a path through the spaces of the houses, from the entrance to the living area where the route opens into a large bright and welcoming space that includes kitchen and living.
The larger apartment (Apartment A) involves the construction of a single curved wall that delimits the spaces reserved to the sleeping area and services. In addition to the main bedroom there is a second room that can perform various functions, from study room to guests room. The large bathroom has two sinks and bathtub while the smaller one has a walk-in shower. The spacious and functional kitchen is connected to the living area by a mixed-function wall with a large bookcase and a work surface for the kitchen that can also be used as a table for breakfast or a quick meal. The living area connected to the balcony is a very flexible space that can be easily transformed according to the different needs.
The smaller apartment (Apartment B) has a cozy entrance with wardrobe. The large and open living area has a bright kitchen and a spacious lounge room. The apartment is characterized by a long bookcase/wall system which extends along the entire wall from the entrance to the kitchen/living. A comfortable bedroom and a large bathroom complete the house.
