Description

This project's main aim is to create a functional, spacious and cozy environment for the client's property. The analisys of the property's condition, performed taking into account the client's requests, showed that its rooms are correctly distributed but it is necessary to redistribute its spaces through forniture positioning. A dividing wall separates and the big room and the kitchen zone, where a niche encloses a white and walnut brown linear kitchen with metallic appliances. The guest room and the dining room are aligned with the window. In the first area there are a sofabed and hanging cabinets that aslo serve as a television support, while in the second area there are an extandable walnut table with matching chairs. In front of the kitchen, there is a functional cupboard which also has an estetic purpose, thanks to its pierced cubes and the modern warm-colour wallpaper found inside them and on the opposite wall. The same coulour is used for the other two walls of the room. The kitchen shows a porcelain stoneware floring caracterized by large-size grey tiles which give a modern touch to the room. The wallpaper used in the kitchen is also used in the corridor to maintain the continuity of both areas. The entrance and the corridor are especially functional thanks to the walnut wardrobe that covers two walls, and the entrance wardrobe that has drawers, shelves, clothes hangers and a big mirror. The big room is caracterized by three sections: the first one created by two wardrobes located on opposite walls which enclose a a big modern armchair; the second one identified by a double bed behind which a wall unit shows pierced cubes that recall those of the kitchen; and the third one defined by two desks located close to the window, one partially enclosed into a wall unit and one into a walnut structure with built-in television and mirror. The big room walls are caracterized by a white-background wallpaper with abstract elements. The original division between the toilet (which includes a toilet wall mounted and a handrise basin corner) and the bathroom (with a big bathtab, countertop washbowls and a cabinet with enough space for a washing machine and a laundry basket) hasbeen maintained. In both spaces, white tiles are used for the floor and part of one wall, while the rest the walls have dark tiles that recall the corridor floor and the kitchen wall, to create a strong visual constrast in both spaces. The pantry presents a custom made wardrobe. The small room's forniture is suitable for both, a child and a teenager: it has a big wardrobe, a single bed with a night table, and a wall unit with pierced cubes and a desk. This room shows a light neutral-colour wallpaper suitable for both, a boy and a girl.
