The project aims to create a sustainable, cost-effective and easily applicable living environment while establishing high aesthetic qualities at the same time.
Given the challenging form of the lot, primary goal in the design process was to achieve the most efficient layout possible. In the final layout, all the closed and semi closed spaces, and even the covered parking areas are within the construction zone (area effettivemante edificabile). The garage, parking areas and the entrance is visible from the street. But the house faces south where the pool is located.
Parking is planned to host five cars (2 in garage, 3 under cover) and more. Covered parking area is organized under an eave that connects the house and the garage structures. It enhances the integrity of multiple functions in the front yard and works as a threshold layer between the street and the house.
The great room is formed in open plan layout. It consists of a large kitchen (with many cabinets, a kitchen island and a large pantry), a dining area and a large sitting area. Guest bathroom is adjacent to the great room and it's close to the entrance.
There is a second dining area which is an adjustable extension of the great room and located right next to the pool. It is surrounded by bi-fold glass panels and it's utilized for different use scenarios (open/semi-open/closed) and weather conditions. In fact, with a simple folding action, the great room, the studio (tv room) and the second dining area can be used as a one big space when needed.
Two master bedrooms and the great room have direct views of the pool and the land beyond it. The maid's room on the other hand, is located on the opposite side (north) and does not face the pool. Laundry is right next to the maid's room.
Both master bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and wardrobe units. Separate wardrobe room is in between the bedrooms and it's easily accessible from them.

Il progetto mira a creare un ambiente di vita sostenibile, economico e facilmente applicabile stabilendo allo stesso tempo elevate qualità estetiche.
Data la forma impegnativa del lotto, l'obiettivo principale nel processo di progettazione era quello di ottenere il layout più efficiente possibile. Nella planimetria definitiva tutti gli spazi chiusi e semichiusi e anche i parcheggi coperti sono all'interno della zona edificabile (area effettivemante edificabile). Il garage, i parcheggi e l'ingresso sono visibili dalla strada. Ma la casa si affaccia a sud dove si trova la piscina.
Il parcheggio è previsto per ospitare cinque auto (2 in garage, 3 al coperto) e oltre. Il parcheggio coperto è organizzato sotto una grondaia che collega la casa e le strutture del garage. Migliora l'integrità delle molteplici funzioni nel cortile anteriore e funge da soglia tra la strada e la casa.
La grande sala è formata in un layout a pianta aperta. Si compone di una grande cucina (con molti armadi, un'isola cucina e una grande dispensa), una zona pranzo e un ampio salotto. Il bagno per gli ospiti è adiacente alla grande sala ed è vicino all'ingresso.
C'è una seconda sala da pranzo che è un'estensione regolabile della grande sala e si trova proprio accanto alla piscina. È circondato da pannelli di vetro a doppia piega ed è utilizzato per diversi scenari di utilizzo (aperto/semiaperto/chiuso) e condizioni meteorologiche. Infatti, con una semplice azione di ribaltamento, la grande sala, lo studio (sala tv) e la seconda zona pranzo possono essere utilizzati come un unico grande spazio all'occorrenza.
Due camere matrimoniali e la grande sala hanno vista diretta sulla piscina e sul terreno al di là di essa. La camera della cameriera, invece, si trova sul lato opposto (nord) e non si affaccia sulla piscina. La lavanderia è proprio accanto alla stanza della cameriera.
Entrambe le camere matrimoniali dispongono di bagno privato e armadi. Il guardaroba separato si trova tra le camere da letto ed è facilmente accessibile da esse.
