Description

The project seeks to be an answer that best covers all the client's requests. Respecting the mirrored units on both floors, the total available volume of 900 m3 and the maximum covered area of 233 m2, the building is arranged as a strip volume with a gabled roof, coexisting harmoniously with its residential-industrial environment, but standing out through its contemporary design.
Access to the houses is located at each end of the volume, allowing access from the ground floor or from the garage in the basement. The garage has two spaces for cars for each housing unit, bicycle racks and spaces to use as storage.
The pedestrian entrance from the sidewalk directs the user to a social space so that the inhabitants can have a place to develop activities in a larger and shared space, from where the entrances to each home are derived. The porches open to the south, protecting the access to the house and designed as fundamental spaces in the project, which connected to the Living / dining / kitchen area, function as a single and large comfort space. Thanks to its orientation, the house takes advantage of natural light throughout the day. The rooms and wet spaces (bathrooms, laundry) are located in the northern part of the volume, generating a more private entrance space.
The building is modulated and designed to be made of a concrete structure, brick cladding and plaster with a layer of paint. The exterior walls have a thermal coating that makes them thicker (30 cm).
The project seeks to be a simple, modern and above all functional interpretation for this new home.
Thanks for the opportunity and good luck with your future construction!
