The doors visible from the entrance looked very strange, so we worked out a way to conceal them. By moving the former bathroom and storage we got a nice indent in the wall in the entry corridor. In this new indent we placed a large open closet and storage space, so now the first thing you see upon entering the house is a rack of shelves on the left and the storage on the right. The entrance to the living room is now on the opposite wall, from it leads a diagonal wall that affects the perspective of the hallway a bit. at the end of this wall is the door towards the apartments night-secor, the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen remains in its place, and it is connected to the living room via an arched ceiling (a bit of a classical touch) with a countertop under it. The countertop extends to the dining area which further extends to the living room. Behind the kitchen is the pantry storage. The former storage room is divided between the new storage and a larger bathroom that has a bathtub and two sinks. The additional room is a small greenhouse (since it has roof lights) and study, full of books and plants.
The furnishing is done in a contemporary-classic style, with elements of both old and modern furniture, as well as plants. Since the floor is white marble, we found it suitable to make the walls contrast, using wooden panels of warm colours in the living and bed rooms, and placing a darker tone in the study, respective to the roles of the rooms.
