Il progetto prevede lo sviluppo dell’attuale sistema distributivo dell’appartamento proponendo modifiche che non alterano la natura degli spazi esistenti, ma che ne aumentano le potenzialità.
L’obiettivo è di migliorare la circolazione interna della casa, rendendo i passaggi da un ambiente all’ altro più fluidi (per esempio nel caso della via comunicante tra cucina e salotto), e di rendere più funzionali gli spazi di filtro (ingresso e corridoio) che risultano da rilievo sovradimensionati e non del tutto sfruttabili.
Viene inoltre soddisfatta la richiesta di ricavare tre stanze da letto e una camera destinata a studio (che all’ occorrenza può divenire stanza da letto per la figlia o stanza per ospitare gli amici grazie alla presenza di un comodo divano letto inserito nell’ ambiente).

Nel dettaglio, zona giorno:
-L’area dell’ingresso viene ridimensionata realizzando una parete divisoria in cartongesso che costituirà la nuova separazione tra ingresso e zona living. In questo modo viene ri-costituito uno spazio di filtro e di distribuzione tra zona giorno e zona notte attrezzato con grandi armadiature a parete, utili come appendi abiti e spazi per accessori di servizio.
- L’area living che comprende il salotto, viene ampliata attraverso la demolizione della parete che attualmente la separa dall’ingresso. Viene tamponato il foro porta che da stato di fatto collega ingresso a sala da pranzo, e demolita una porzione di muro divisorio tra salotto e sala da pranzo, creando così maggiore profondità e un’unica e ampia area giorno open-space con cucina angolare a vista.

Zona notte:
- La porzione a nord del corridoio è stata frazionata e trasformata in piccolo disimpegno interno alla camera da letto matrimoniale, creando così un accesso diretto al bagno che ora è a servizio esclusivo della camera padronale.
- Seppur intervenendo il meno possibile a livello impiantistico, i bagni 1,2 e 3 sono stati lievemente ampliati, ed è prevista la sostituzione di rivestimenti e ceramiche, nello specifico una doccia più ampia nel bagno padronale (bagno 1), così come una vasca a vista più confortevole nel suo utilizzo nel bagno 3.
- La porzione di corridoio a sud dell’appartamento è stata attrezzata con un’armadiatura incassata a muro, utile sia a servizio della lavanderia, così come per il bagno adiacente.

Zona notte tra due anni:
In questa soluzione viene proposto un cambio d’uso delle stanze da letto dei figli e dello studio in previsione di un futuro accoppiamento dei posti letto dei figli più piccoli.
Questa proposta prevedere il trasferimento dello studio nella stanza con balcone a sud, l’area più distante e privata della casa, e lo spostamento dei due lettini per i bambini nella stanza a nord, vicino a quella dei genitori. La fattibilità del cambio è determinata anche dalla possibilità di riutilizzare la quasi totalità dell’arredo acquistato per la precedente versione, sostituendo solamente qualche pezzo.
Grazie a questa futura variazione sarà possibile guadagnare una cameretta da letto in più dove poter alloggiare la figlia, quando c’è, oppure gli ospiti.

English description:

The project involves the development of the apartment’s distribution proposing a variation that doesn’t change the nature of the existing spaces, but that increase the potential of them.
The objective is to improve the domestic circulation of the house, creating more fluid passages (for example improving communication between the kitchen and the living room), and more functional filter spaces (entrance and hallway) now not completely useful.
As requested, in the project design are present three bedrooms and a study room (the last one can become a bedroom for your daughter or room to accommodate friends thanks to a comfortable sofa-bed).

In detail, the living area:
-The entrance is resized placing a partition wall that separates this area from the living. This operation reconstitute a filter space between living and sleeping area, furnished with spacious closets.
- The living area is extended through the demolition of the wall that currently separates from the entrance. It is planned to close the door-hole that actually connects to the dining room, and demolished a portion of the wall between the living room and dining room, to create a big open-space area with more depht.

Sleeping area:
- The north of the corridor has been divided, and turned into small disengagement inside the master bedroom, to create an exclusive access to the bigger bathroom.
- The bathrooms 1,2 and 3 have been enlarged, but the most of hydraulic systems have not been touched. It is planned to replace the coatings and the ceramics, specifically to replace a bigger shower in the master bathroom (bathroom 1), as well as to replace a more confortable bathtub in the bathroom 3.
- The south of the corridor was equipped with a wall wardrobe, useful for the laundry, as well as to the bathroom 3.

Sleeping area next two years:
This solution is a propose for changing the use of children's bedrooms and the study in the next two years.
With this proposal, is planned to transfer the study furniture in the room with balcony to the south, the farthest and more private area in the home, and to displace the two beds (and other furniture) for childrens in the north room.
The feasibility of this change is determined by the possibility to recycle all the furniture bought for the previous version, replacing only some piece.
With this future change will be possible to gain a single bedroom to place daughter, when she’s at home, or your guests.
