We live in a beautiful house in Connecticut. We are looking to transform our large, open plan family room into a comfortable and relaxing open space where family and friends gather to enjoy each other’s company, listen to music, admire art creations. The room should feel as comfortable when we hang out there ourselves or when we host a fun gathering.
We are a tall family and our central furniture pieces are 2 leather oversized chesterfield sofas on a cream color rug.
The floor is dark oak. The fireplace is sand stone. The floor plan has a ‘bar’ area BUT that bar was taken out before we moved in.
