Keeping in mind client's requirements (2x3 m LED screen panel and 20 m2 photo-voltaic panels) modern design concept of the facade was come-out naturally. It is focused on the new name, AL 16, of the Hotel / Pizza Restaurant, taking number 16 to the extreme using perforated metal panels. Its exaggerated size gives immediate attention and impression of solid structure/business behind it.
Remaining part of the facade is composed of photo-voltaic panels with exception of ground floor and operable windows. The combination of metal panels and and highly reflecting glass panels was exploit before, in old urban areas, with successful results. Facade is the focal point of the street to the people passing by and, at the same time provides intimacy to the Hotel/Restaurant visitors.
