Description

Dear Client,

Thank you for the opportunity to design your dream home.

The design was mostly inspired by the existing building and its history, preserving the industrial look while also providing a solemn and comfortable abode for the family.

The layout was made according to your ideas, with some adjustment to make the most of the potential. The master bedroom was placed on the east side to let morning sunlight enter the bedroom, and to have the better view of the garden. The eastern porch was proposed to be built up into the front of the living room with large glass door facing the garden, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor space.

Coat and shoes storage are placed in the entry hallway to save space, the lighting in the entry hallway was carefully placed to create a welcoming ambience to the house.

The guest room is placed in the studio with a foldable bed that could be opened up as needed, while the daily setting it would be folded up, so that you would have a spacious studio to work in.

The entry pathway from the Via Caravaggio is design in an indirect line, with undulating garden that would make entering the house no longer a boring experience, there would also be a wall covering the entry door keeping the privacy of the home from the street.

Sliding doors with frosted glass are used as partition, that should be enough to hide the mess that could happen in the kitchen while retaining the spaciousness of the living area.

Built in storages are plenty and a small pantry was tucked in the corner of the kitchen utilizing the available space as much as possible.

The Fiat 500 was of course not forgotten, if you feel adventurous, it could be cut up and hanged on the wall as an art piece.

We hope the design satisfy your expectation. Thank you.
