The general concept of the space is guided by the actual interior design of your office trying to bring iconic elements, firehouse style and an Industrial look.
The space is divided in three main areas; an open work area with eight workbenches for the engineers, an informal meeting room and the space required for the 3D printer, temp chamber and the shaker bath.
As required, the architectural finishes follow the industrial look, but without leaving the cozy ambience that you want in the space. Elements such as brick, natural wood and concrete are used. On the facade I proposed two windows with black frames and two glass doors for the access.
Work Area:
The dimensions of the workbenches are: 150 x 95 cm (60" x 37"). This workbenches have two superior shelves, so engineers can organize their equipment. Each desk have a pivoting head LED luminaire for the precision tasks they required.
The disposition of the workbenches are perpendicular of the walls making the space more comfortable so engineers have a closer communication between them and giving extra space feeling to the area.
Meeting Room:
This space is designed to have informal meetings. On the left side a white board is proposed and on the right side I proposed a ligh box with shelves so you can exhibit prototypes.
