The existing space have a lot potential to be split to two units, contemporary and modern. In the presentations are two feasible combinations among many.
On the floor space intended for transformation into an one big apartment with all required rooms and small apartment, conditioned by the position of the staircase and the associated elevator space, two proposals are presented.
The first proposal is designed to offer a multifunctional living space with a large terrace, when entering a larger apartment, gets the impression of a large in-depth multifunctional space and a smaller apartment with a terrace on the north side. In the big apartment rooms and bathrooms are grouped in a row along the length, so that redundant corridors are lost. The entrances to the rooms are recessed to ensure additional privacy for the users.
The large terrace was conceived as a space for an extended living room space with an over-the-head shades that would prevent overheating of the living area.
The smaller apartment is designed in imitation of modern homes that integrate multifunctional furniture and light partitions that separate the space.
The second proposal is designed to use the full width of the space and the terrace by making it an integral part of the multifunctional living room with dining room and kitchen, as part of an extended living room. Access to the living room is through the night area via the corridor. Grouped two bathrooms and guests WC are in place of the existing one. Optionally, the former room 5, now with a separate bathroom, is placed with option to create separate office with entrance from the common corridor.
The smaller apartment is designed according to the model of contemporary homes and is fully open to the northern terrace, with clearly separated entrance, day and night zones.
