Mediterranean Garden
The project creates 4 different zones:
1. along the road there is an ad equated space for dwarf trees and a route through aromatic and edible plants allow to gather the fruits
2. between left and right corner there are living and dining room, with an outdoor kitchen. Both from dining and living room is visible the outdoor fireplace. Near the fireplace there is also a hot tub: in this position it is possible to link the tub with the fireplace, using fire heating to warm the water
3. in the right corner there is a stars look-out area, with a wood burning fire bowl
4. in the east part there is a dog area, where are planted two specific species of tree that are drought tolerant and they need a very limited upkeep
To obtain the adequate privacy conditions have been designed a tailored fireplace, facing with the house on north, and movable privacy screens faced to the east.
The dogs have free access of the whole yard and some wooden pot protect the most fragile plants.
All the plants chosen in the project, also that in the wooden pots, are edible and drought tolerant. They have a nice fragrance and they have beautiful white, yellow and purple flowers during several months of the year.
No plants higher than 5 ft are placed in the garden and no plants require an intense upkeep.
All the garden is surrounded by a wood fence, with special "green window" in which are placed pots with plants. The fence guarantees an adequate privacy.
